On the side of the Bow Bells pub on Bow Road, this black and white mural of Pearly Kings and Queens and market traders and horse drawn wagons delivering beer is a cockney stereotype but has a certain charm.
(Top London Fact: They are wrong to call their pub the Bow Bells – within the sound of which a cockeny must be born. The Bow Bells referred to were not in Bow Church across the road from this pub, but rather in St Mary-Le-Bow in Cheapside in the City, miles away.)
