Walking is my my favourite way of getting around this fantastic city of London. Something catches my eye and I take a photo. Or I discover something I didn’t previously know. This is where I post the pictures and write down the things that I find interesting.
They are postcards to myself, really.
But you are very welcome to have a rummage about in them.

What a beautiful site; top-notch photography and prose. Would love to see your work expand.
Re the Fletcher bibliography; the companion volume to ‘Offbeat in the City of London’ – the lazily named ‘Offbeat in London’ needs to be added to the list.

This will drive my husband mad; I already subscribe to The Irish Aesthete’ and spend time looking at old houses in Ireland…now a different view of London! Fab!

Thank you very much, Stefan, and sorry for my late response. I’ve not been very active on the blog during lockdown. And thanks for pointing me towards Offbeat in London. I have ordered it.

Thank you for subscribing. I am glad you have enjoyed reading the blog.

My interest was sparked by your article on RN Cattle & Son Ltd. ‘RN” was my greatgrandfather. You already have info from some of my cousins but there seems to be no more opportunity for further comment. I know more and if you wish me to add anything please let me know.
TheLondoni
Yes please, Robert.
I would be fascinated to find out more.
If you add to comments here. I will publish it to the site.
Thank you!
